Monica Haage joined the OECD/NEAs Division of Human Aspect of Nuclear Safety 2016. One of her tasks is the secretariat role of the CSNI (Committee on the Safety of Nuclear Installations) working group of Human and Organizational Factors. She has a degree in Engineering (Automation) and a degree in Social Psychology (Leadership and Organizational Theory). Ms. Haage has over eight years of working internationally in the area of Human and Organizational Factors with special focus on Leadership, Management and Culture for Safety and the Systemic Approach to Safety/the interaction between Human, Technical and Organizational (HTO). Before she joined the NEA she worked at IAEA for seven years in the above mentioned areas. Ms. Haage has accomplished in her role as the IAEA scientific secretary several deliverables such as new publications, safety culture assessment methodology, Safety Culture Continuous Improvement Process (SCCIP) for both regulatory bodies and operators, several larger international meetings and workshop which includes the Safety Culture Conference 2016. Ms Haage was the IAEA technical lead for the human and organizational/safety culture section in the IAEA Fukushima Daiichi Accident Report. Ms. Haage earlier assignments are international EHS manager at ISS, HTO and safety culture expert at Oskarshamn Nuclear Power Plant, lecturer and curriculum responsible at the faculty of social-psychology in the University of Skovde.  Her career started at the Scandinavian Airlines.
